Come and experience a slice of Christchurch's history at the 125-year-old Antigua Boat Sheds and Café on the Avon River, where the whole family can have a day out to remember.
We have single canoes, double canoes, paddle boats and row boats for hire on the Avon River, and once you've had your outdoor fun in the sun, you can come and relax in our fully-licensed café, which is also available for function hire. Group discounts and kids combos are available - just the ticket for curing that school holiday boredom!
All vessels are extremely safe, and we have an experienced team on-hand to help at all times.
Our café is located on the banks of the Avon, and has both indoor and outdoor seating, so you can enjoy the view over the green banks of the river as it meanders through central Christchurch. We offer an exceptional menu to suit all tastes, and can host functions for groups of up to 60 people for special occasions.
